New Wave Of British Heavy Metal, Classic and Progressive Rock

Ex-Witchfyde bassist Andro Coulton sets up Vyper Records.

Vyper-RecordsA few days ago I received an email from John Allom. He’s a member of a band called The Filth Dogs. John asked if I wouldn’t mind reviewing their album. And that the band is influenced by NWOBHM-era bands such as Tysondog and Tank.

So I listened to a track on the record company’s (Vyper Records) web site – great stuff. Hopefully the review copy should be hitting the door mat as fast as the postie can deliver it. Back to the point……

On checking out the Vyper Records site – a familiar name evident. Andro Coulton. Could it be THE Andro of the great Witchfynde? It is. And he’s up to some good things with Vyper. And his own band XYZ.

Here’s a bullet-pointed highlight of New Wave of British Heavy Metal related finery which is going on via Andro/Vyper in the not too distant. Read and enjoy…….

# Andro Coulton’s ZXY ‘Evolvalution’, The Filth Hounds Release ‘The Hounds’ and Devils Answer ‘The Devil Is My Dad’ on the 20th July 2015 worldwide through Code7 distribution.
