I just heard about the Denim and Leather Festival being put together for September. Awesome! The New Wave of British Heavy Metal I’m pleased to say is still very much with us and surely the festival is a “must attend” for any old farts like me who still remember the good old days.

Gigblasters and Rock Rotation Radio are proud to bring a night of New Wave of British Heavy Metal back to the country where it all started. Featuring a host of “originals”, it is going to be a night of entertainment that hasn’t been seen on these shores for a long time. Heavy Metal music as it was meant to be.
Legendary performers Praying Mantis, Weapon and Gaskin will all be on stage as well as more acts to be confirmed. And as if that wasn’t enough, the whole evening will also be compared by the legend that is Krusher Joule (Kerrang, Raw power, Ozzfest etc). The bands will also be there to meet and chat with the fans at the gig, so a full evening’s entertainment is guaranteed.
It all happens on September 29th at The Slade Rooms in Wolverhampton.
