In top news for us NWOBHM fans, I have word from Hoplite records that good old Vardis will be recording a new live album, the very long awaited follow up to their classic live 1981 hit album “100MPH”.
The new live album will be recorded at the Unity Works, Unity Hall, Wakefield, UK, on Saturday 13th December 2014 and will be out in 2015 on all formats including CD & iTunes.
This is excellent indeed.
Get there if you can. Get the album if you can’t (or even if you can).
Should be a great night out – and it’ll be on “home turf” as the band originate from the city.
